Have you ever noticed how positive and affirming some black people can be. We have. When I was fresh out of college
I had dinner with Coretta Scott King
and she reminded me why Dignity means "to be worthy of respect."
Take the Love & Power survey. You might learn about yourself
In 1968, Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. said:
"We've had it all wrong and mixed up in our country. Power, properly understood, is nothing but the ability to achieve Purpose.
Power without Love is reckless and abusive. Love without Power is sentimental and anemic."
In 1965, Min. Malcolm X said:
"You cannot have a self-help movement without first having a self-help philosophy."
Both these brothers understood the relationship between yourself, love, and power.
Self-power starts with self-love and self-love starts with self-knowledge. Take the survey. Tell a friend.
